In 1992, Peter Sparling founded Affinity Millwork, a custom millwork company that has since become Artisan Millwork, Inc. The organization has obtained numerous awards and accreditations for its commitment to quality service and its stunning products.

 

• In 1999 Artisan Millwork completed the Sound Station Seven project in Providence, Rhode Island, and was featured on its first national magazine cover, Mix Magazine’s September 1999 issue.

• Later, it completed the Sterling Sound project in Chelsea, New York City and was awarded its second Mix Magazine cover in the December 2002 issue.

• Within that same year the company completed the Providence Prime Steakhouse in Providence, Rhode Island winning a Silver Medal in Best of Rhode Island competition.

• Creative collaboration with project designers has always been at the core of our identity.

​In 2009 Peter Sparling began a new chapter under the name of Artisan Millwork, LLC as he formulated a strategic partnership with various investors. This partnership allows the companies to deliver complete Division 6 and 12 packages to serve their owner, designer and contractor customer base. The alliance allows the companies to creatively integrate solutions for customers' and bundle the total package for ease of coordination and management of their interior package.
